With summer on the horizon, it’s time to shake up your beauty routine with new shades that are sure to attract attention.  Here are five shades to keep you on trend and turning heads all summer long.

Think Pink

Nothing screams summer like big, bright, bold shades of pink.  From fuchsia to magenta, these shades will brighten any complexion.  Team with pink shadow and blush for extra girly glam or with nude shades to let your lips do the talking.

Gary’s Pick: Nars Audacious Lipstick in Michiyo

Electric Orange

While not for the faint of heart, vivid hues of electric orange made quite a splash on this year’s runway looks.  To complete the look, team with bronzed skin and lots of lashes.

Gary’s Pick: Maybelline New York Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid in Orange Shot

Tawny Rose

Not quite nude and not quite pink, these tawny shades of pink are perfect for those who like a subtle, natural look.  These shades work best with complimentary shades of eyeshadow and blush to create a monochromatic look.

Gary’s Pick: Stila Color Balm Lipstick – Jessie

Matte Crimson

Today’s matte lipsticks offer saturated color to give your lips an intense hue.  Pair these matte crimson shades with dewy skin and neatly groomed brows to create a sophisticated and glamorous look that works from day to late, late night.

Gary’s Pick: MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour – Feels So Grand

Whether you prefer a stand-alone glitter powder to pat on top of your lip color, an all-in-one glitter lip color or a glittery top coat to pair with any shade in your lip-color wardrobe, this is one trend that you won’t want to miss.

Gary’s Pick:  Lime Crime Diamond Crushers Iridescent Liquid Lip Topper – Fluke
